In Him Is Life

“In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.”

— John 1:4

Beloved, this is a timeless and unchanging truth: In Him is life. Not near Him. Not around Him. But in Him.

Jesus Christ is the eternal Word, the source of all that was, is, and will ever be. Life did not begin with us. It began with God. In the beginning, He breathed life into man, giving not only existence, but purpose, identity, and divine connection.

Sin broke that connection, and humanity has been searching ever since, trying to find life in things that cannot sustain it. Today, we see the same pattern. People are busy, accomplished, and connected, yet empty within. Surrounded by information, yet lacking direction. Alive physically, yet searching spiritually.

But the truth remains. Life is still found in Christ.

Jesus did not come to improve life. He came to restore it. As He declares,“I have come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10

This life is not measured by status, possessions, or achievements. It is revealed through peace in pressure, purpose in uncertainty, and joy that endures beyond circumstances.

In a world driven by performance and validation, Christ calls us to something greater. Not striving, but surrender. Not performance, but presence. Not chasing identity, but living from it.

Life in Christ is also light. It brings clarity in confusion, truth in deception, and direction in uncertainty. When His life is in you, darkness cannot dominate you.

This life is not earned. It is received.“The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” — Romans 6:23

Beloved, the question is not whether life exists, but where your life is anchored.

If it is in things, it will fade.If it is in people, it may fail.If it is in achievements, it will fluctuate.

But if it is in Christ, it will endure, unshaken and eternal.

For truly, in Him is life.
