Happy Monday and God’s Blessings,

“Knowing the Time We Are In”

“From the tribe of Issachar… all these men understood the signs of the times and knew the best course for Israel to take.”1 Chronicles 12:32 (NLT)

As we navigate an age marked by uncertainty and rapid change, our hearts are drawn to the example of the sons of Issachar. They possessed both spiritual insight and practical wisdom. They discerned the times, and they understood what Israel needed to do. Their story offers us a timely reminder: God is not only moving, but He is also inviting us to pay attention.

There is no question that much is happening around us. Change is constant; information flows from every direction; life moves at an accelerated pace. Yet true understanding does not come from activity. It comes from a heart attuned to God. When the posture of our hearts is right, we do more than observe; we discern. We recognize not just events, but God’s voice in the midst of them.

This is a season to slow down inwardly, even as life continues moving quickly outwardly. It is a time to listen more intentionally, to pray with expectation rather than routine, and to remain available for God’s direction. He speaks clearly to those whose hearts remain open.

The sons of Issachar not only understood the times; they also knew what action to take. Discernment always calls for a response. When God reveals a shift, obedience must follow. Delayed obedience risks missing divine timing.

When we understand the season, our decisions become clearer. Confidence replaces confusion because we move with God rather than ahead of Him. Discernment also protects us, helping us avoid unnecessary battles and focus on God’s blessing.

Some of us may need to release old habits, mindsets, or comfort zones that no longer serve God’s purpose in this season. What worked before may not work now.

Knowing the time:

  • Builds your Trust in the Lord, who is your refuge and strength.

  • Gives you comfort in God’s presence for He holds the universe in His hands

  • Draws you near to God in times of trouble.

I pray that we will reflect the wisdom of the sons of Issachar, discerning the times and walking with confidence in the direction God sets before us.

You are Blessed! You are a Winner! Enjoy the week ahead!
