“Steps Ordered by God in Uncertain Times”

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way” Psalm 37:23.

It is important to remember that our lives are not governed by chance or coincidence. For those who walk with God, nothing is random. Every season, every transition, and every step carries divine intention. Even when the road ahead feels uncertain or unfamiliar, our steps are not wandering. God is actively ordering them, so they lead us into abundance, purpose, and fulfillment.

This promise assures us that God is not only aware of our journey but deeply invested in it. To be righteous is not to be perfect but to be positioned in trust, obedience, and dependence on God. When we surrender our plans to Him at the start of this year, He takes responsibility for directing our steps. Ordered steps are steps that are established, aligned, and guided by God toward His promises.

In this new year, God may order our steps through seasons of waiting, refining, or redirection. These moments are not signs of lack but pathways to abundance. What may feel slow or uncertain is often God preparing us for greater growth, deeper wisdom, and lasting fruit. Even past missteps, when placed in His hands, are redeemed and used to move us forward.

God not only orders our steps but delights in our walk. He takes pleasure in our faith and our willingness to keep moving forward, even when we cannot see the full path. He strengthens us when we grow weary and steadies us when the ground feels uncertain. The righteous may stumble, but they are never abandoned, because the Lord upholds them with His hand.

Do not rush ahead of God, and do not be discouraged if the pace feels slow. Trust Him step by step. Stay faithful in prayer, grounded in His Word, and sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Take heart as this year unfolds and commit to the wisdom of Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.

As we allow God to direct our steps this year, our journey becomes an adventure filled with unexpected blessings. God reveals paths we may never have imagined. He clarifies our purpose and shows us how to serve Him well. We find hope and a future rooted in His promises.

When we align our plans and desires with prayer, we invite divine guidance to illuminate each step we take.
