Happy Monday and God’s Blessings,

“Looking Up When the World Pulls Down”

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” Psalm 121:1

Beloved, in times like these where nations tremble under wars, technology is advancing faster than our ethics can guide it, and many hearts are overwhelmed by fear of tomorrow. The News’ headlines show floods, fires, conflicts, political turmoil, and a rising tide of anxiety across the globe.

Yet the Psalmist gives us a timeless instruction: “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.”

Notice, do not look down in despair, nor look around for human solutions first.

Look up! Let your gaze shift from the chaos of the earth to the constancy of Jesus Christ our Savior.

The hills represented strength, stability, and a higher vantage point. In verse 2, the hills are clarified as “My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” Our true help is not in governments, not in policies, not in our bank accounts, not even in human wisdom; it is in the Creator who sustains all things.

Our call in these turbulent times is to LOOK UP. When the world pulls down with fear, division, and despair, we lift our eyes in faith. When the news cycle fills our hearts with dread, we remind ourselves that the Maker of heaven and earth is still our Keeper. When society offers false hills of safety; wealth, power, technology, or politics..., we declare with boldness: “OUR HELP IS FROM THE LORD!”

So let us not be shaken. Let us live as a people who, though surrounded by trouble, keep looking up. For our confidence is not in the shifting sands of the world, but in the unchanging Rock of Ages-JESUS CHRIST!

Remember:

            •           In times of fear—look up.

            •           In times of confusion—look up.

            •           In times of testing—look up.

            •           And when blessings overflow—still look up, for every good and perfect gift comes from above.

Beloved, the hills remind us of God’s stability and our present help at all times. So today, and in the days ahead, let us rise above the noise of the times and fix our eyes on the Lord, the unshakable source of our strength.

You are Blessed! You are a Winner! Enjoy the Week Ahead!
